WIKATA

The humble wikata may be one of the few animals left on Earth that could be called friendly. They subsist primarily on a diet of genta plant and other desert shrubs, and generally avoid conflict. They make for phenomenal beasts of burden, and their calm disposition also makes them a reliable choice for combat. They are widely utilized by the Eastern Horde and Confederacy alike.

In addition to their reliability, wikatas are able to heal in a manner not quite on par with a clacktrack, but much faster than just about any other animal on Earth. Over the course of a day—given they are provided the right nutrition—these creatures can go from wrecked to ready. This, and the fact that they don’t require water for extremely long periods, are still two more reasons they make wonderful traveling companions.
